Resources and Partners

Family Court Services for Clay, Duval, and Nassau Counties is available to help answer questions from self-represented clients.  We direct clients without an attorney to contact Family Court Services for information on how to file a modification, motion for contempt, and other legal actions.

Family Foundations is available to provide individual and family counseling, as well as financial counseling to parents.  We direct clients who apply for the sliding scale to meet with them and learn more about the strategies and resources available to help them improve their financial situation.

Florida Department of Children and Families is the agency in charge of public assistance and child welfare.

Hubbard House is the domestic violence shelter in Duval County.  They also provide outpatient services for victims of domestic violence and their children.  In addition, clients who are ordered to participate in Batterers’ Intervention may register to complete the classes through Hubbard House.

Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA) is the provider of civil legal assistance to low income persons.  JALA may accept your case and assign an attorney to represent you.

Quigley House is the domestic violence shelter in Clay County.  They also provide outpatient services for victims of domestic violence and their children.
